The aim of this work is to analyse the presence of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the curricula of the mental health subjects of the Nursing Degree in Galicia. Its relevance lies in the importance of a comprehensive approach in mental health nursing education, recognizing the influence of various social determinants of health and adopting a model of care that addresses social, economic and environmental aspects, beyond the traditional biologist paradigm. In this context, a descriptive study is presented using the digital artificial intelligence tool Escáner2030, a free-access application for mass labelling of document content through natural language processing, which makes it possible to detect and obtain visualizations of the presence of the different SDGs in any text. The results indicate that the training curriculum focuses on SDG 3 (“Good health and well-being”), with little attention to other social determinants of mental health, such as education (SDG 4), employment (SDG 8), poverty or material resources (SDG 1), or the environment and housing (SDG 11). It is concluded that university nursing education in Galicia is oriented more towards mental disorder than towards comprehensive care from a sustainability perspective, leaving aside aspects such as education, employment, poverty and the environment.
