Migration and psychosis

Abstract

Objectives: to determine the relationship between psychosis and migration, as well as to identify the different risk factors and the probable aetiopathogenesis of this phenomenon. Methodology: a systematic review of articles published in PubMed between 2005 and 2018 under the terms «psychosis» or «schizophrenia» or «mental health» and «migrant» or «immigrant» or «asylum seeker» or «displaced person». After an exclusion process, 12 articles were included.
